What is positive psychology?

Positive Psychology is the scientific study of what makes life worth living. It focuses on the strengths, virtues, and positive emotions that contribute to well-being, resilience, and optimal functioning. Positive Psychology interventions aim to enhance an individual's positive experiences, relationships, and personal growth, and to build their resilience to cope with life's challenges. It helps people to cultivate a positive outlook on life, build their strengths, and increase their happiness and well-being.

Positive psychology helps people understand WHAT to strive for in life - if they want it to be one that feels true to themselves and meets THEIR version of happiness.

What is self-leadership?

Self-Leadership, on the other hand, is about taking control of your own life, developing your own personal vision, and leading yourself towards your desired outcomes. It's about becoming the best version of yourself and creating a life that aligns with your values and aspirations. Self-Leadership is about developing the skills and attitudes necessary to be successful, fulfilled, and happy, both in your personal and professional life.

Self-leadership is the ultimate self-influence and helps people understand HOW to put their flourishing goals into action so they become their new reality.

Here are some of the reasons why I love my job as a Positive Psychology Practitioner and Self-Leadership Coach:

By working with my clients, I can help them to develop a more positive outlook on life, increase their resilience, and live more fulfilling lives.

I get to work with people from all walks of life

I love the diversity of my clients and the different perspectives that they bring to our sessions. Whether I am working with a business executive, a stay-at-home mom, or a retiree, each person brings their unique set of experiences, challenges, and aspirations to the table. This diversity keeps my work interesting and challenging, and I am always learning something new.
